Joshua 1:7-8

7 Be strong and very courageous.  Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful.

  • Calling all members who are interested in making a joyful noise for the Lord.  We will have a choir meeting/rehearsal on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m. We would love for those who deeply desire to come with an open mind and willing heart to sing praises unto the Lord to be in attendance. "Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing." - Psalm 100:2
  • All women of Zion: You are invited to join our Women's Mission on Monday, February 9th @ 5:30 p.m. if the weather permits.  Bring a guest with you as we fellowship, encourage and connect with one another.  We hope to see you there! Sis. Loyce Edmon.
  • Mark your calendars!  Our quarterly Church Conference meeting will be on Wednesday, February 4th @ 6:30 p.m. All members are asked to attend.  Your participation is important as we come together to discuss and plan for the future of our church family. Note - there will be no Bible Study on February 4th.
  • Bible Study will resume on February 11th.  We will continue in the book of Jude.
  • Union Baptist District Association presents: A Midwinter Revival Explosion, February 3-4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.  Theme: Revive Us Again - Psalm 85:6. Tuesday, Feb 3rd Rev. Melvin Petty, Pastor of Greater Mt. Olive BC and Wednesday Feb 4th Rev. Darrick Bledsoe, Pastor of St. John Baptist Church will bring God's Word.  Asking all to come out and support our District.  Tabernacle Address: 1925 West Loop 340, Waco, TX 76705.

  • Members may now pick up their 2025 TAX contribution statements.  Please see Sis. Marcy Hill in the fellowship hall immediately following service.
  • Please check out our Facebook page for upcoming Sunday events: Next Sunday, February 8th will be Heart Health Awareness.  All are asked to wear something RED to show your support.

  • Sending "Happy Birthday Wishes & Blessings" to all who are born in the month of "February"!  May God richly bless each of you in every way!  
  • Let us Lift Up on another in Love.  Continue to pray for all sick, shut-in, and grieving members in prayer.  Please continue to pray for Deacon Marvin Nichols who underwent emergency surgery on Tuesday and was moved to Encompass Rehab on Friday.  Also, asking for continued prayers for Dr. Frances Worthy who was hospitalized and now recovering at home.  God is a healer who can heal all wounds.
  • Mathew 5:4 says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."   Remember to keep all bereaved families in prayer.
