The Deaconess Ministry
The Deaconess Ministry serves the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church according to 1John 3:18 - Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
It is our desire to:
- Minister to the needs of our sick, shut-in, and widows.
- Preparation of the Communion Table every first Sunday and care of communion elements, linens, etc.
- Assist female candidates for baptismal services, caring for baptismal attire, towels, etc.
- Serve as role models for our church youth, especially the females
- Participate and serve where needed in other ministries of our church (Women's Ministry, Sunday School, Youth and Young Adults)
