The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church congregation gathers to worship God every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  Worship normally begins with a musical selection played by our Church Musician and assisted by our Praise and Worship Team.

Our Worship includes traditional gospel as well as contemporary songs and hymns, prayers, and a sermon based on the Word of God.  The preachers at GZMBC will preach the word in season and out of season for reproof and correction.  Greater Zion Missionary Baptist includes the Lord's Supper aka Communion as part of worship on the first Sunday of each month.  The fourth Sunday of the month is casual Sunday and many wear a Church or Christian T-shirt with jeans or khakis. On the fifth Sunday morning, the Women's Ministry will be in charge.  They may be dressed in the same color and usually present a program during morning worship.

How Shall I Dress?

You will see a variety of clothing worn by the congregation at Greater Zion.  The preacher might wear a suit and tie or a clergy robe.  A few worshippers will also wear a suit or nice shirt and pants.  You'll also see dressers and/or suits and hats on some women and pants on others.  You might also see khakis and a casual shirt or jeans and a T-shirt. In other words, there is no dress code, no dress expectations - you wear what you're comfortable wearing as long as you come with a sincere heart presenting yourself before God.
