  • On next Sunday, February 22nd, our Youth Ministry will present our Black History Program, Service will begin at 10:00 AM.
  • Calling all members who are interested in making a joyful noise for the Lord.  We will have a choir meeting/rehearsal on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m. We would love for those who deeply desire to come with an open mind and willing heart to sing praises unto the Lord to be in attendance. "Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing." - Psalm 100:2
  • The REACH Ministry will meet on Monday, February 23rd at Royal Manor Retirement Home from 6-7 PM.  Adrress:9101 Panther Way Hewitt, TX 76643. For questions, please see Sis. Chankay Harris, REACH Coordinator.
  • Attention Women of Zion: Immediately following Sunday worship on February 22nd, the Women of Zion will meet for planning of our upcoming 50thth Women's Day Celebration which will be held on the 3rd Sunday in May.  all ladies are encouraged to attend and participate as we work together to make this a grand and memorable occasion. "Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." Psalm 133:1
  • Calling all men of Zion!  All men are encouraged to come out and be a part of our AREA BROTHERHOOD service.  Your presence, support, and fellowship are greatly needed as we continue the work of the Lord.  Area Brotherhood will meet on Monday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM. Host church: Greater Zion MBC. Hope to see you there and thanking you in advance, Deacon Charles Clayborne, Area Brotherhood President.
  • Central Texas Region of the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas will have a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM and Musical at 7:00 PM on February 20, 2026.  A Worship Service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 10:00 AM.  Host Church: Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, 919 Dutton St., Waco, TX 767098, Dr. Kerry Burkley, Host Pastor, Pastor Melvin Petty, President.
  • Save the Date!  There will be a Citywide Spring Revival - March 29-31, 2026, 7PM nightly at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 Dallas St. Waco, TX, 76704; Rev. Nika David, host Pastor.  Further details will be forthcoming - see the GZ Facebook page.
  • Sending "Happy Birthday Wishes & Blessings" to all who are born in the month of "February"!  May God richly bless each of you in every way!  
  • Let us Lift Up on another in Love.  Continue to pray for all sick, shut-in, and grieving members in prayer.  Please continue to pray for Deacon Marvin Nichols who is now home recuperating.
  • Mathew 5:4 says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."  We ask the church family to continue uplifting the Davis, Hall, and Talton families in prayer during their time of bereavement.  Bro. Elwain Davis mourns the loss of his sister, Sis. Claudette Ali.  We also remember Sis. Ira Etta Hall, sister of Sis. Marion Davis and Bro. Howard Talton, the brother of Sis. Alma Manigo. Let us keep all bereaved families in our prayers as we continue to pray for our city, our state, and our nation.
